The Al Garibaldino Rooms are all in the center of Trieste, in a historic palace in Via Molino a Vento 3. The building, also called Palazzo del Garibaldino, was built in 1854 and renewed in 1930, year in which a floor was added from the famous architect Max Fabiani.
Al Garibaldino Rooms is a strategic accommodation if you want to visit Trieste by foot, due to its location in the historic center of the city, being distant only 1 kilometers from the beautiful Piazza Unità d’Italia and only 2 kilometers from the Central Train Station, which can be reached in a few minutes by bus or taxi (but also by foot, if you prefer a peaceful walk of about 20 minutes through the Borgo Teresiano).
Al Garibaldino Rooms faces Piazza Garibaldi, a characteristic site where you can stroll between traditional stands that populate the Piazza from the beginning of the ‘900s.
If, during your visit in Trieste, you wish to visit some attractions distant from the center, main bus stops that link the entire city are very close by.
